This Privacy Policy explains how SealFont (“SealFont”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use sealfont.com and our digital products (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

1Information we collect

Information you provide through our forms

When you submit the contact form, we collect the name, email address, and any message you choose to send. These forms are handled by our form provider, Formspree.

Names you enter

The name you enter to create a signet is processed to compose your design. We retain entered names — including for free (unpaid) generations — to compose the signet and for aggregate counts and analytics (such as generation totals and name frequency). These records are not linked to your IP address or any other personal identifier.

Purchase information

When you buy a signet, we process the name you enter (used to generate your signet) and the email address associated with your order, so that we can generate and deliver your files. We may receive limited order information (such as your name, email, country, and order ID) from Dodo Payments to fulfil and support your order.

Payment information

We do not collect or store your payment card details. All payment data is collected and processed by Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record.

Technical data

Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may process limited technical data, such as IP address and request metadata, as part of delivering and securing the website. We keep analytics to a minimum.

2How we use information

• to generate and deliver your signet files;
• to count and analyse generations in aggregate — including the names entered, and including free generations — not linked to your IP address or identity;
• to respond to your enquiries and provide support;
• to operate, secure, and improve the Service;
• to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on your consent (for example, contacting us), the performance of a contract (delivering your purchase), and our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service.

3Service providers and sharing

We share personal information only as needed with service providers that process it on our behalf:

• Dodo Payments — payment processing and Merchant of Record (billing, tax, refunds, chargebacks);
• Formspree — handling contact form submissions;
• Cloudflare — website hosting, content delivery, security, and email routing;
• Resend — sending your order confirmation and download-link email;
• Google Cloud — running our signet generation service and securely storing your order’s files for delivery;

These providers may process and store data outside your country, including outside Japan, so international transfers may occur. We take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled appropriately. Each provider’s own privacy policy governs its processing — in particular, Dodo Payments’s privacy policy applies to your purchase.

4Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes above — for example, to deliver your order, provide support, meet legal and tax obligations — after which we delete or anonymise it. Order and billing records held by Dodo Payments are retained under its own policies.

5Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, and you may withdraw consent (such as unsubscribing from our emails). To make a request, email support@sealfont.com. For purchase and billing records, you may also need to contact Dodo Payments as Merchant of Record.

6Cookies and analytics

The SealFont site is designed to be lightweight and uses minimal cookies. Essential cookies or similar technologies may be set by our hosting and payment providers to keep the site secure and to process checkout. We keep any analytics to a minimum and do not use your data for third-party advertising.

7Children

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

8Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
